I woke up to great weather and easy hiking conditions.  The sixteen miles to waynesboro penn went by without any problems.  I can tell that the heat is going to be a real issue going forward.  I called for a shuttle when I crossed highway 16.  Becky met me at about eleven after I checked into the hotel.  

I am taking a break in DC until July 5 to rest and recuperation.  I will resume the blog at that time in the 5th.  Until then happy 4th and happy trails.
