My name is Pat McMenamin, a newly retired criminal defense lawyer from Cape Girardeau. I’ve sold my law firm, my house, and most of my possessions in order to walk the Appalachian trail. When I get done I’ll be moving in with my girlfriend in Milwaukee. I am now in route to begin that journey. I’ll try to post my goings on, some glimpses into life on the trail, and maybe an occasional criminal justice rant. For now let me thank my friend Keith Douglas for driving my nephew Joe and I to Georgia for the jump off. To all of my friends I say again: come walk with me! See you all on the trail.
