I’m off. Pictured with my nephew Joe Willoh, we began by hiking up springer mountain to the trail head. All told about 11 miles mostly up hill. Tonight we are camping next to an AT shelter (pictured below). These shelters can usually be found every 10 miles or so in most of the trail. Very handy during storms.
